Testimonials

“Sharing your own personal story, that really hit deep. I guess because it sounds like it was traumatic. To gave experienced that and to come back to work and the way you pull out the positives was amazing.”

“I like the case studies and real life experiences, I learn from that. I think in future, it should be a whole day session, so we can explore the cases more.’

“….I found that pair work can sometimes be supportive, possibly with directed questions. I think that there was great value in aspects of your own lived experience that brought into the discussion and this also really encouraged a safe space to share.”

Thank you for coming in and sharing your knowledge and passion with us. I’ve had some lovely feedback from the team who feel your work is very thought provoking and they have learnt a lot from you. The tools you have shared will really help us in the MASH when we are speaking with parents, thank you for sharing them. They have been sent out to our Social Workers and Early Help Workers.

“The training June delivered for us recently was excellent. She showed great awareness not only of the legal aspects, but also of the many cultural and practical elements. Her training was extremely practical, helped greatly by the fact she works with complex safeguarding situations every day. I highly recommend her.”

“June generously supports others in their learning. Her professional and knowledgeable approach is engaging and inspiring. June has delivered educative workshops for Bournemouth University students and supported teaching by bringing practice experience into the classroom. We worked together recently to bring together communities of practice to help pre-qualifying social work students understand their career options and developing knowledge of different areas of social work. I valued that June brought her wealth of experience and helped create a safe space for important conversations, networking and questions.”
